Unknown yacht - 1987 Fastnet Race - Plymouth

 Do you known the name and designer of this yacht I cannot see any marking on it ??? The picture was taken as the yacht approached the Queen Annes Battery Marina in Plymouth having completed the 1987 Fastnet Race. It may possible be a 1987 Admirals Cup yacht it does look like a One Ton size yacht.

    The yacht is a Beneteau One Tonner (the same design as Blue Diamond elsewhere in the blog rather than the earlier 1984/85 boats such as Phoenix etc)

    It may be Alvine VIII but can't be certain
