I took this picture in 1982 at Brighton Marina the yacht is a FARR design and built in 1977.

ReplyDeleteThat was a home build project.It was built by John Taylor and his son and reaced under the Sussex Yacht Club flag. At the time it was the first wide beam 1/2 tonner on the water.Off the wind she was fast.

ReplyDeleteThe guy tying his laces up looks like Tony Curtis one of the crew of Farrgo. The J24 is Miss III owned by Derek Farrant.
