According to Ellen MacArthur's "Taking on the World" (p.41), Panic Major was designed and built by Robert Nickerson.
ReplyDeleteI was part of the build team - we built her in a duck shed in Market Rasen, lincs, then took her out on to the Binks off Grimsby to put her through her grind.
ReplyDeleteShe was not a 40' but a 60 footer.
ReplyDeleteI sailed in the 70’s with Robert on Gin Trap and Cherry Valley Dick
