Maiden - Round the World Racing yacht 1989


Maiden - Around the World Racing Yacht the pictures were taken in 1989 Hamble River. This yacht was the all womens crew entry to the Whitbread Round the World Race. Do you know who designed this yacht and what design is she ?????
Where is this yacht now ?
Is she still racing ?

    Farr design about 53ft I think, ex Disque D'Or III (Pierre Felmann, SUI). Her wide stern got hammered by changes to the IOR

    She is currently moored at eden island, Mahe, Seychelles. She needs a lot of attention.
