Needlework - Mini Ton IOR Yacht - 1982 Brighton Marina


Needlework is a Mini Ton IOR Yacht the design may be an Intro do you know what she is ???

  2. I sailed her for two seasons. She was built by the Elephant Boatyard at the top of the Hamble river, called needlework because she had a needlework mast and rigging that could be altered to slant it all forward when going down wind. The engine worked for 5 minutes before it overheated. Great fun all told.

    i bought this one last year and still keep and sail it at the club. fun boat. mainly for cruising than racing but she still does well in a race.

  4. I sailed her with Vic Marchant out of Brighton Marina for a few years .We won Round the Island with her. Fabulous little boat. We also put a new fordeck on her. Good times.
