Would say cruising boat better than racing :)
ReplyDeleteRose Rambler was the first off (hull no. 1) of Laurent Giles Rambler design. She is a cruising boat and not intended for racing, owned by Humphrey Barton, who helped design her. This vessel has made more crossings of the Atlantic than any other of her size. I went on board Rose Rambler in Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Is. in October 1971, just prior to Humphrey's 17th crossing of the Atlantic.
