    THis boat remember me "Backlash", firts IOR baot with a bulb keel. She was silver painted on those days

    Yes, I think it is Backlash too, noted on the 2012 page. She was quite distinctive at the time as having a masthead rig, but with a large sale main (note long boom) and narrow fore triangle. Was RORC Yacht of the Year (1985 or thereabouts).

    Definitely the Julian Everitt Backlash. As well as the bulb keel she also had a forward lifting canard - Julian was/is something of an innovator!

    Agreed she was Backlash but became Toy for the Boys when she was bought by Malcolm Guscott
